OVER 20 ENTREPRENEURS IN BEYLAGAN RECEIVED PRIVILEGED CREDITS AMOUNTING TO 1,6 BILLION MANATS

A business forum took place in Beylagan province of Azerbaijan on 23 August, Trend reports. The Minister of Economic Development Farhad Aliyev, officials from the Ministry, executive power and entrepreneurs took part in the event.

According to Aliyev, the event is the 24 th one, performed within the state program on the socio-economic development of the regions of Azerbaijan. Improvement of the legislation, of the business climate, implementation of the infrastructure projects, lowering of the tax interests, simplification of the export-import operations are needed for the country’s regions development.

Aliyev noted, the government allocates funds to the regions, which need them most of all. Preferable spheres are grain growing and cattle breeding. One of these regions is Beylagan. The Minister noted, todate 968 small and medium-size enterprises of the Aran economic area received over 53 billion of preferential credits.

For 229 projects in Beylagan region only, 4 billion manats were allocated. 21 entrepreneurs got 1,6 billion manats of preferential credits also. 400 new job places were opened on the account of the works held.
