Over the first 7 months of 2005 the import-export operations of Azerbaijan with CIS made up $1,128bn. The State Customs Committee told Trend in this period export to CIS countries made up $320m (19.9% of total export).
31.5% of import fell on CIS countries. In January to July Azerbaijan imported goods worth $808m. Thus, the export-import operations with CIS countries ended in a balance $488 in red.
