Around 66% of all investments, put in Azerbaijan, fall on oil sector, James Ghogin,the coordinator of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), said on Friday.
Ghogin noted that during the analysis of the Azerbaijani economy it is necessary to take into consideration the impact of oil revenues, in particular, in the context of exploitation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline.
According to Ghogin, developed by USAID the project вЂ�Public investments and efficiency in the direction of assistance to the government in the development of the investment strategy upon completion of major oil investments.
He noted that the project was directed at planning the capital investments and it is not planned to discuss any political aspects. The project will concern only the sectors of economy.
