An international conference on banking sector will be held in Baku on 13-15 October 2005, Samad Nasibov, the coordinator of the program on public relations and economic researches of the Union of Azerbaijani-Turkish Entrepreneurs (ATIB), told Trend.
According to Nasibov, attending the vent will be the senior management of the National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA), the Central Bank of Turkey, representatives from the international financial organizations, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
"The key objective of the discussions is the development of the banking sector in Azerbaijan and researches into the application of international experience,” Nasibov noted.
