The fourth republican exhibition-fair of bee-keeping products started in Baku on Wednesday, Trend reports
Attending the official opening ceremony of the show were representatives from the Agriculture Ministry, the Ministry of Economic Development, as well as Sahib Alakbarov the head of the Sabayil Executive Power and specialist in the sphere of bee-keeping.
Organized by the Agriculture Ministry jointly with the Scientific Production Association �Gizil Petek’ and the Sabayil Executive Power the vent brought together bee-keepers from around 50 districts of Azerbaijan, including Dashkasan, Guba, Imishli, Yardimly, Balakan, Gakh Agdash, Geranboy, Agdash, Ismayilli, Lemkoran, Sheki, Oguz, Nakhchivan, Goychay.
Yevdokiya, Khanbekova, the head of Gizil Petek Production Association, told journalists that taking in to consideration much interest in the event the date of the event prolonged by 2-3 days. The show exhibits different types of honey such as citrus, motley grass, white, sunflower.
As to price of honey, the figure will range from 30,000 ($6.5) and 70,000 manats ($15.3) per 1kg depending of the type of honey, she underscored.
