Arzu Abdulov, an employee of the Testing Station of the Tovuz Vegetable Growing Institute, is representing Azerbaijan in an international training on agriculture, which started in Tashkent on Monday, the Scientific Agrarian Center of the Agriculture Ministry, announced.
Organized by the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) the courses focus on the improvement of agriculture production.
The training to end on 22 Thursday is dedicated to increase of the crop capacity, in particular vegetables and grains, maintenance of genetic resources of agriculture plantings, environmental protection, opportunities of the use of seeds drought-resistant sorts of plantings, the Center said.
