The delegation of Azerbaijan will take part in the annual assembly of the European Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditing (ECIIA). The event will take place on 15 October 2005 in Cyprus, the head of the internal auditing sector of the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan Nigyar Murtuzayeva told Trend .
According to her, from the Azerbaijan’s part members of the Public Union “Auditing of Azerbaijan” founded on 26 June 1999 will take part in the assembly, the head of which is the chairman of the country’s Chamber of Auditors Vahid Novruzov told Trend.
Issues, related to the results of the organizations’ General Assembly held in Istanbul on 9 October last year will be discussed at the current assembly, the financial report of the Confederation president Ives Chandelon will be heard, as well as other issues, such as approval of the business plan and the budget for the following 2 years.
For today ECIIA, which headquarters is in Brussels comprises, including Azerbaijan and Lithuania, which joined in 2004, 31 members, among them such countries as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Russia, Italy and other countries. Only organizations may be members of ECIIA.
