The Department for Anti-Monopoly policy under the Ministry of Economic Development completed the monitoring of the market of audio-visual goods. Rahim Hussynov, the Director of the Department, said that at the moment they revealed counterfeit goods in the amount of 115m manats. "A relevant commission has been established to resolve the problem, which will focus on cancellation of pirate products,” Husseynov stressed.
The monitoring of the market of audio-visual products became the most incriminating. For the first time in the history of monitoring they revealed facilities with 90% absolutely false products.
At the moment both administrative and financial sanctions were imposed on people involved in sale of counterfeit products and explanatory discussion are held.
