The first meeting of heads of CIS International Association of Exchange (IAE) marketing and information services to be staged in Baku in October at the initiative the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BICE). The meeting was planned from 6 to 8 October, Bugar Israfilov, the chief of the BICE Information-Analytical Division, told Trend.
According to Israfilov, they planned to discuss some issues, particularly, the role of the information cooperation in development of financial market, exchange of experience, training and probation of employees of marketing and information-consulting sector.
He said that information services were independent sector of the exchanges receiving 7-8% of exchange incomes. Earlier the figure comprised 5-6%. The BICE takes first places on 7-9% income rate of information services in the CIS countries.
The BICE plant to come out with some initiatives, particularly, on holding of similar meetings in Baku every year, financing of probation at the expense of IAE and exchange of employees.
Attending the event are planned to be representatives of CIS exchanges, particularly, Aleksei Kuprin, the Executive Secretary of the IAE, Bolat Babilov, the Vice-President of the Kazakh Stock Exchange, and Vikhtang Khomurazshvili, the Vice-President of the Tbilisi Interbank Currency Exchange.
