The meeting of the Azerbaijani Counting Chamber (CC) was held on Thursday,Trend reports. The meeting discussed the results of the audit conducted on the funds allotted to the culture divisions of the regions Lankaran, Lerik, Astara and Yardimli. The funds were allotted from the public budget for 2004 on expenses of culture, fine art, mass media, as well as religion.
The audit revealed that normative documents were not observed at determination of necessary funds, people with secondary education were appointed to the posts of chiefs of divisions, and teachers, wages were paid on top-heavy tariffs.
The recommendations on the results of the meeting will be submitted to the Milli Majlis (Parliament), the culture divisions of the regions, the Education Ministry and the Finance Ministry.
