The trade exhibition of local goods was held on 5 October in Sumgayit. About 200 entrepreneurs from 40 regions of the country participated in the event, Trend reports.
The Minister of Economic Development Farhad Aliyev and the head of the town executive power Vagif Aliyev took part in the event, stressing the importance of holding such an event.
The Minister of Economic Development noted the fair is the third event of this kind, implemented in the framework of the President’s decree, 11-th item, “On strengthening of anti-inflation measures in Azerbaijan Republic”. The first fairs were held in Baku and Gyanja.
The 11-the item of the President’s decree entrusts the relevant authorities of cities and towns to arrange weekly fairs on mobile sale of agricultural products and the consumer goods aimed at forming the healthy competitive environment.
