CSC VESSELS DELIVER AROUND 10M TONS OF DIFFERENT CARGO

In January to September 2005 the Caspian Shipping Company (CSC) has transported 9,989,000 tons of different cargo. 7,304 million tons were transported by tankers, 1,818 million - by barges, 867,000 tons вЂ" dry cargo.

Major part of the cargo was transported by vessels functioning in the Caspian basin. The cargo deliveries among the CIS ports were higher than other directions. In particular, 7,432 million tons of cargo was delivered through these routes, or 126 tons more than 2004.

6,613million tons were transported via the Euroasian transport corridor (6,143 million tons of transit cargo), or 178,000 more as compared to same period of 2004. 4,765 was transported by tankers.

Vessels of the Caspian basin delivered 751,000 tons of cargo, or 77,000 tons more as compared to 2004.

In this period 13,600 passengers used the services the navy of CSC.
