A delegation of the National Audit Office (NAO) of the UK headed by John Born, the general auditor of the NAO, will pay a visit to Baku on 25 October. The Azerbaijani Accountancy Chamber told Trend the NAO representatives were going to discuss the development of cooperation between the two countries, strengthening of the role of
the Accountancy Chambers in the expansion of bilateral relationships, and anti-corruption activities.
The visit will last till 28 October, the Accountancy Chamber announced.
A memorandum on mutual understanding between the Azerbaijani Accountancy Chamber and NAO was signed in London on 13 May 2003. The signatories were Namik Nasrullayev, the chairman of the Azerbaijan National Accountancy Chamber and John Born, the general auditor of the NAO.
