Ismat Abbasov, the Agriculture Minister, participates in ceremony on 60th anniversary of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Ministry told Trend.
The FAO is the first specialized establishment of UN established on 16 October 1945 with 150 members. The goal of the organization is to render technical aid in agriculture, produce food and fish products. The headquarters locates in
Rome.
The subject of the anniversary ceremony was dedicated to agriculture and dialogue between cultures, as dialogue play significant role in struggle with starvation and degradation of environment. Attending of the event were numerous state delegations from different countries of the world.
