In January to September 2005 the number of passengers using the Baku Metro Production Association (PA) has made up 106.9 million, or 8% more than 2004, the PA told Trend.
At present the Baku metro is comprised of 2 lines and 20 stations with 32 vestibules. 42 escalators with the general length of 4300 meters function the Baku metro.
The general length of the tunnel construction is 80.96km. Daily over 520,000 passengers use metro, while every year the passenger flow grows 5%.
