Medina Musayeva, a coordinator of the International Center for Agricultural Reseach in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) will complete her visit to Baku on Wednesday. The Scientific-Agriculture Center at the Agriculture Ministry told Trend the visit was paid under the program on cooperation on sustainable development of agriculture in Caucasus and Central Asia, designed in 1995.
Under the visit she held a field day in Terter District on Tuesday with around 20 farmers. For the first the farmers were shown a new method of grain sowing вЂ" a separate method, enabling 50%-econmy as compared to traditional one.
On Wednesday the coordinator will hold meetings with the Director of the Scientific-Agrarian Center of the Agriculture Ministry, Asad Musayev, the ICARDA coordinator in Azerbaijan, as well as Imran Jumshudov, the manager of the project on Azerbaijan, also a specialist of the Land Institute.
