“The International Insurance Company (IIC), the largest local insurance company, collected 16,218bn manats or $3.5m fees over the last 9 months,” Khayal Mammadkhanli, the chairman of the Observation Council of the Company, told Trend.
According to Mammadkhanli, 15.8bn manats are voluntary, 418m manats - obligatory. 3,060bn manats or $665,000 was paid on accidents.
The IIC was established by the International Bank of Azerbaijan in 2002. The statutory capital of the company, rendering 28 services, amounted $5m.
