The Azerbaijan Chamber of Auditors works at improvement of the legislation in the auditing, in particular, of the laws “On auditing services” and “On internal audit”, the chairman of the Chamber of Auditors Vahid Novruzov stated, Trend reports.
The work is implemented on the account of the World Bank technical assistance, which is supposed to finish in 2006. "Training of the auditing staff is also planned within this work”, he noted.
Novruzov said, the Chamber signed an agreement with the Chambers of Auditors of 3 countries. The World Bank’s grant for the developing of the accounting and auditing systems is $340,000.
