The 42-nd sitting of the Railway Transport Council of CIS and Baltic states will take place on 22-24 November 2005 in Ashgabad, the Azerbaijan State Railway told Trend. The railway transport issues, particularly, fulfillment of the decisions of the 41-st sitting, the results of railway networks operation for 9 months, schedule norms of passenger and freight trains, registering of freight wagons results, initial results of container registering and etc.
Exchange of views on implementation of the contract on joint use of wagons and containers of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and other CIS countries, increase of freight wagons, their upgrading and on other issues will be held in the framework of the sitting.
