The Azerbaijan State Railway (ASR) commenced since 14 November the autumn inspection of the railway units, ASR told Trend.
The inspection team headed by the chief engineer Gurban Nazirov started its work from the Yalama check-point. Further inspections has been conducted on the route Yalama- Sumgayit, Beyuk-Kyasik вЂ"Gazi-Magomed, Goradiz-Osmanli, Ali-Bayramli-Alyat, Ali-Bayramli- Pirsagat вЂ"Baladjari, at the Baku, Keshlya, Shirvan, Gyuzdek, Hirdalan stations and in all ASR directions.
The goal of the measures is checking the safety of the railway operation, as well as liquidation of problems in this respect. During the inspection railway stations, lines, equipment, wagons, electrical supply, communications and others have been checked. ASR carries out inspections 2 times a year (in spring and autumn).
