The Azerbaijani specialists will take part in the international conference on the potato-growing. The event will commence its work on 28 November in Delhi, the scientific-agrarian centre of the Agricultural Ministry told Trend.
The Ministry of Agriculture noted also, that the organizer of the event dedicated to the potato non-virus seed-farming is the International Centre for Potato-growing. Specialists from the Vegetable-growing Institute under the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan will take part at the event.
The issues of new technologies introduction, prevention of viruses for increase of harvest, expansion of cooperation and exchange of experience between various countries in this respect will be discussed at the conference.
Besides, an agricultural delegation from Azerbaijan takes part in the international conference on introduction of new technologies in agriculture in Tashkent, organized by the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA).
