IFC selects joint stock companies for pilot program on corporative management

“The project on corporative governance (ACGP) implementing by the International Finance Corporation, holds selection of joint stock companies for pilot program of technical assistance,” Rasmina Gurbatova, the employee of ACGP PR, stated at the fist workshop for media held on Tuesday, Trendreports. According to Gurbatobva, the projects holds selection of companies in accordance with the submitted applications.

The program includes around 6 joint stock companies or banks. The criteria of the selection are status of organization as joint stock company, existence of corporate governance structure and interest to increase of its quality. The assistance, including, estimation of corporate governance, consultations and measures on increase of financial transparency, will be rendered by beneficiaries queue order.

ACGP helps application of standards of corporate governance in accordance with the norms of OECD.
