The Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park was registered in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Tax Ministry reported today.
The founder of the park is the State Property Committee.
The official representative is Zaur Mammadov.
The authorized capital is 500,000 manat.
The purpose of establishing the park is to develop small chemistry, in particular the production of the final chemical products ranging from packaging and plastics.
A new park is appropriate in terms of proximity to major chemical companies for these small production facilities to partially or fully use the products manufactured by enterprises included in SOCAR's production association "Azerkimya". Small production facilities will be able to purchase raw materials in the new complex of oil and gas
refining, petrochemical production, and import the necessary products or technologies.
Moreover, the necessary infrastructure, including communications, roads and railway lines, which will greatly facilitate the process of creating the park will be located in the territory.
