Rompetrol Georgia revamps gas stations

A process of rehabilitation and automation is on-going at gas stations owned by Rompetrol Georgia. Four stations have been fully automated under the project with six more being ready by late summer.

According to the company's management, the project aims to complete automation of gas stations throughout Georgia, while restoration will be carried out in only at 10 stations.

"By the international standards that Rompetrol follows, new gate columns were installed and full automation of the four stations conducted. Renewal takes place both in Tbilisi and the regions," Rompetrol Georgia director general Nurken Murzaguliyev said.

The entire revamp of gas the stations' automation will be completed by late 2012.

"We are constantly focused on customer comfort and the network expansion to make our services available to all and everywhere. In addition to automation, two more stations will be added to our network in the near future. In addition, we added a free service to the stations on the outskirts of Tbilisi- screen cleaning and in future this be introduced at all stations," Murzagaliyev said.

Rompetrol transnational company has operated on the Georgian market for seven years and now is the largest fuel supplier of the European standard on the country's oil market. The company's headquarters is in Amsterdam and now comprises over 40 companies in different countries.
