According to the report, most part (around 95 percent) has been produced at the Khauzak-Shady field in Bukhara region (part of the "Kandym-Khauzak-Shady-Kungrad" project implemented togethern with the National Holding Company "Uzbekneftegaz").

The PSA on the project was signed in June 2004 for a period of 35 years.

Commercial gas production at the field began in November 2007. A year later Khauzak-Shady reached a full production level - 3 billion cubic meters of gas a year.

The accumulated gas production on the South-West Gissar project amounted to 0.8 billion cubic meters today.

It was previously reported that PSA for the South-West Gissar (Kashkadarya region, south of Uzbekistan) was signed on January 23, 2007 for a term of 36 years and entered into force on April 23, 2007. Uzbekistan's share will range from 55 to 80 percent depending on the profitability of the project.

Lukoil joined the South-West Gissar project in Uzbekistan in 2008.
