Kazakhstan's gas production amounted to 3.623 billion cubic meters (bcm) in January, 2013, compared to 3.561 bcm in January, 2012, the national dispatch center of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.
In January, 2013 gas production in the country increased by 1.8 percent as compared to January, 2012 and increased by 1.3 percent compared to the previous month.
The fulfillment of the indicative plan on the gas extraction amounted to 101.8 percent in January, 2013.
In 2012 Kazakhstan's total production of gas amounted to 40.131 bcm compared to 39.532 bcm in 2011.
