Production of oil products increases in Turkey by 20 percent

In July 2013 the production of gasoline and diesel in Turkey reduced by 5 per cent compared to previous month and constituted 1.1 million tons, report of Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) posted on its official website on Wednesday said.
According to the report data, production of oil products in Turkey for the reporting period increased by 20 per cent and constituted 2.05 million tons.
In January-July compared to the same period of 2012 production of oil products in Turkey increased by 0.3 per cent and constituted 12.2 million tons.
By July 2013 gasoline consumtion in Turkey increased by 5 per cent, and constituted 184,600 tons compared to previous month. Diesel consumption in July increased by 2.4 per cent, and constituted 1.6 million tons.
In January-July gasoline consumption decreased by 0.3 per cent, and constituted 1,050 tons, diesel increased by 7.4 per cent, and constituted 9.5 million tons.
In July the average gasoline price in Turkey increased by 2.5 per cent in comparison with previous month and constituted 4.84 lira for litr. Diesel price increased by 2.4 per cent, and constituted 4.27 lira for litr.
The official rate for September 18 is 2.0045 TRY/USD.
