Baku, Azerbaijan, May 11

Iran has denied exporting crude oil to North Korea.
Ali Majedi, Iran's deputy oil minister for international affairs, strongly rejected any news about exporting Iranian oil to North Korea, Iran's Tasnim news agency reported on May 11.
In April 2013, Iran's former oil minister Rostam Qasemi said the country was considering exporting oil to North Korea as a way to improve its battered economy.
At that time, Iran's IRNA news agency quoted Qasemi as saying talks were underway between Tehran and Pyongyang on oil exports.
