Absheronneft Oil and Gas Extraction Department (OGED) launched the drilling of two new wells at the Darwin Bank field under an order of the Complex Drilling Works Trust, according to a message from Azerbaijan's State Oil Company (SOCAR).
The designed depth of the well #738, to be drilled from the platform #740, is 940 meters, and the well #839, to be drilled from the platform #720 - 1,425 meters.
The expected daily volume of production from each well is five tonnes, according to geologists' estimates.
