Iran's Energy Ministry owes $160 million to Bushehr nuclear plant.
Mahmood Ja'fari, the project manager of Bushehr nuclear plant, said that the this has currently a capacity to generate 7.5 billion kilowatt hours of electricity, Iran's Mehr news agency reported on September 3.
He also said that the expenses of Bushehr nuclear power plant is $75 million annually, including maintenance operations.
The ministry's debt has reached $160 million due to the plant's power delivery to Iran's electricity grid.
For the time being, 800 Russian engineers are working in Bushehr nuclear plant, he noted.
The 1000-MW Bushehr is Iran's only nuclear electricity plant which launched by Russia's Rosatom State Atomic Energy in early 2009 experimentally, but connected to the national power grid in 2011.
