The State Oil Company to Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported 1.1 billion cubic meters of gas to Georgia in Jan.-Nov., a source at SOCAR told Trend.

In total, the company exported one billion cubic meters of gas to Georgia in 2013, compared to 993 million cubic meters in 2012.

"SOCAR continues to export gas to Georgia," said the source.

SOCAR supplies gas to Georgia via a pipeline linking the two countries in Azerbaijan's Gazakh district. The pumping capacity of this pipeline nears 3 billion cubic meters of gas per year.

Azerbaijan's State Oil Company manages the gas distribution networks covering various regions of Georgia through SOCAR Georgia Gas company.
