Iran's gas production increased again

Iran increased dry gas production by 8 million cubic meters per day on Jan 21, by refining the enriched gas produced at phases 17 and 18 of South Pars.

According to Shana News Agency, the early gas production from the mentioned phases started and injected to the country's gas network. The final gas production capacity of phases 17 and 18 is 50 mcm/d, is expected to become full commissioned in March 2016.

Iran has increased enriched gas production level from 585 mcm/d in late 2013 to 666 mcm/d as of last week, according to the deputy of oil minister Hamidreza Araghi. However, with adding the produced gas from phases 17 and 18, the total enriched gas amount reached 676 mcm/d.
