Novorossiysk port decreases oil shipping in 2014

Russian international sea trade port of Novorossiysk shipped 72.78 million metric tons of oil in 2014 compared to 91.74 million metric tons in 2013, the port said Jan. 28.

The Novorossiysk port shipped 27.78 million metric tons of petroleum products during the reporting period compared to 24.2 million metric tons in 2013, the report said.

Around 122.09 million metric tons of various cargo were transported in 2014 compared to around 129.48 million metric tons in 2013.

The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) transports its own oil through this port.
