Batyr Alymov was appointed the director general of Turkmenistan's oil refinery in the city of Turkmenbashi, according to a decree of the country's president, issued April 4.
In recent years, this oil refinery has undergone a reconstruction worth over $1.6 billion with help of investments from a number of banks in Europe and Asia.
The contractual work was performed by the companies of Japan, Turkey, France, Germany, Israel, Iran and others.
