Oil and gas condensate production in Turkmenistan increased by 8.2 percent in January-April 2015, the message from Turkmenoil state concern said.
Furthermore, the production volume of petroleum products, including motor gasoline, diesel fuel, polypropylene, lubricants, and liquefied gas has increased compared to the same period of 2014.
The volume of drilling work has increased by 1.6 times.
Turkmenistan plans to bring the capacity of the oil refining industry to 20 million metric tons of oil by 2020, 22 million metric tons by 2025 and 30 million metric tons by 2030.
At present, the country annually produces about 10 million metric tons of oil, the considerable part of which is processed at the local enterprises.
