The US imported 6,034 barrels of petroleum products from Kazakhstan in 2014, compared to 7,092 barrels in 2013, said the message posted on the website of the US State Energy Information Administration (EIA),
No oil was imported by the US from Kazakhstan in 2013-2014, said the message.
The US imported 621,000 barrels of Kazakh petroleum products in December 2014, 585,000 barrels in January 2015 and 338,000 barrels in February, said EIA.
Three large refineries operate in Kazakhstan: Pavlodar, Shymkent and Atyrau.
