KazMunaiGas company reduces profit in 2014

Kazakhstan's KazMunaiGas national oil and gas company has significantly reduced its profit in 2014, the audit report posted on the website of Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) said.

In accordance with the company's consolidated financial statements, the profit KazMunaiGas as of 2014, totaled 199.215 billion tenge (185.95 tenge = $1), compared to 488.642 billion tenge in 2013.

The company's operating profit stood at 28.99 billion tenge during the reporting period, compared to 351.575 billion tenge in 2013.

The company's revenues neared 3.187 trillion tenge in 2014, compared to 3.248 trillion tenge in 2013.

The company's capital increased from 4.036 trillion tenge as of 2013, to 4.417 trillion tenge in 2014.

The total volume of short-term and long-term assets increased from 7.558 trillion tenge to 8.838 trillion tenge by late 2014.

KazMunaiGas National Company JSC is the Kazakh national operator for exploration, production, refining and transportation of hydrocarbons. National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna JSC owns 100 percent of the shares of KazMunaiGas NC JSC.
