The oil and gas production volumes are to be maintained at the level of 2015 in Azerbaijan in 2016, Reuters reported Sept. 21, referring to a SOCAR representative.
The oil and gas production volumes are to be maintained at the level of 2015 in Azerbaijan in 2016, Reuters reported Sept. 21, referring to a SOCAR representative.
"It is planned to produce 40 million tons of oil and 30 billion cubic meters of gas in 2016," the representative said. This is about the same level that we have planned for the current year."
Some 40.7 million tons of oil and 30.2 billion cubic meters of gas are expected to be produced in Azerbaijan in 2015.Azerbaijan produced 41.9 million tons of oil and gas condensate in 2014 versus 43.1 million tons of oil and gas condensate produced in 2013.The total gas production in Azerbaijan amounted to 29.62 billion cubic meters in 2014 versus 30.78 billion cubic meters produced in 2013.
