The volume of investments made in Azerbaijan's oil and gas sector in Jan.-Oct. 2015 totaled 5.91 billion manats, or 20.4 percent more than in the same period in 2014, said a report issued by Azerbaijan's State Statistical Committee.
The official exchange rate on Nov.21 is 1.0506 AZN/USD.
The volume of investments made in the country's industrial sector in Jan.-Oct. 2015 stood at 6.94 billion manats or 18.4 percent more than in the same period in 2014, said the report.
Of these funds, 5.96 billion manats was invested in the mining industry, which is 21.2 percent more than in the same period in 2014.
Investments in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and heat in January-October stood at 158.2 million manats, or 37.9 percent less than in the same period in 2014.
