Uzbekneftegaz National Holding Company has announced a tender to select a foreign investor - co-founder for a joint venture for exploration and development of deposits in the Ustyurt region in northwest Uzbekistan.
The project envisages a geological exploration at the Sechankul, Akjar and Chimbay investment blocks, as well as the development of the Urga field, and the Akchalak and Chandyr groups.
The project will be implemented through establishment of a joint venture with help of foreign investments on a parity basis.
The companies, utilizing modern methods in the oil and gas industry, are invited to take part in the tender and submit a formal bid indicating information about themselves.
Tender bids will be accepted until January 8, 17:00 (UTC/GMT +4 hours).
Confidentiality agreements will be signed with the participants who have submitted bids by the announced date.
