As of February 12, the OPEC oil basket cost $26.74 per barrel, or $ 1.53 more compared to February 11, the OPEC told Trend Feb. 15.
OPEC oil basket price is set on the basis of prices on such types of oil, as Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Minas (Indonesia), Iran Heavy (Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export ( Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
A barrel of Brent Dated oil, extracted in the North Sea, was $31.58 per barrel Feb. 12 or by $2.92 more than the previous price.
