Iranian oil minister annouced that Iran supports any oil freeze plan among global producers to maintain prices, Shana reported Feb.17.

Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh added that Iran welcomes the cooperation between OPEC and non-OPEC producers to improve oil markets.

A day after hosting Russia and Saudi Arabia in Doha, Qatar's Oil Minister Mohammed Saleh Abdulla Al Sada traveled to Tehran to join his Iraqi, Venezuelan and Iranian counterparts' meeting.

Four ministers started the meeting on Feb.17.

Russia and OPEC's major producer Saudi Arabia agreed to freeze oil production at the January levels during the Doha meeting on Feb.16.

Zanganeh said that this is the first step, other steps should also be taken. "Iran supports any effort to stabilize the prices", he said.
