Iran's mazut exports hit 31 million liters per day

Iran increased its fuel oil (mazut) exports to 31 million liters per day (ML/d) during the first month of current fiscal year (started on March 21).

"During the current fiscal year, the consumption of fuel oil decreased by 45 percent, pushing the exports up," managing director of National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company Nasser Sajjadi told Mehr news agency on April 29.

He added that the domestic consumption of fuel oil decreased from 24.5 ML/d in last year to about 13.5 ML/d in the first month of current fiscal year.

He also said that Iran's LPG exports reached 500 tons per day.

Mehr reported that during the first month of year, Iran doubled diesel export to 9-9.2 ML/d, compared to the last fiscal year.
