South Korea to work on South Pars project

Industrial Projects Management of Iran (IPMI) and a South Korean company have signed an memorandum of understanding on management, setting up and ensuring the financial resources of developing South Pars gas field's phase 14, Hamidreza Jalali the Marketing Manager of IPMI told Shana on May 24.

He said that the phase 14 has been developed by 65 percent.

"If the financing problems are solved, the first gas production unit of this phase would become operational by March 2017," he said.

Phase 14 is projected to produce 56 million cubic meters per day of sour gas and 75,000 barrels per day of gas condensate finally.
