Managing director of Iranian Oil Pipeline and Telecommunication Company (IOPTC) has transported 53 billion ton kilometers of crude oil and oil products through its pipelines over the last Iranian calendar year (ended March 20).
Managing director of Iranian Oil Pipeline and Telecommunication Company (IOPTC) Abasali Jafarinasab has said that the figure has dropped by four billion tons year on year, SHANA news agency reported.
The official added that his company transferred 57 billion tons kilometer of crude and oil products in a period of one year between March 2014 and 2015.
According to him, the IOPTC transported more than 63 billion liters of crude oil and 56.5 litters of oil products over the last Iranian calendar year.
Abasali Jafarinasab further said that IOPTC is concentrated on transporting crude oil to refineries.
The company also transports oil products from refineries to oil depots, he added.
