Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR exported 1.22 million tons of oil from Georgia’s Supsa port in January-June 2016, as compared to 1.52 million tons in the same period of 2015, SOCAR said July 1.
The company exported 176,120 tons of oil from Supsa port in June 2016.
SOCAR exported around 2.79 million tons of oil from this port in 2015, as compared to nearly 2.96 million tons in 2014.
Oil is delivered to Supsa port via the Baku-Supsa pipeline operated by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC).
