OPEC oil basket’s price stood at $48.31 per barrel Oct. 10, or $0.28 less than on Oct. 7, the cartel told Trend Oct. 11.
The new OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Rabi Light (Gabon), Minas (Indonesia), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
However, global oil prices are decreasing on Oct. 11.
The price of December futures for the North Sea Brent oil mix decreased by 0.62 percent to $52.81 per barrel, while the price of November futures for WTI oil decreased by 0.58 percent to $51.05 per barrel as of 11:01 (GMT+4) on Oct. 11.
