Kazakh national oil transporting company KazTransOil decreased oil pumping by 8 percent in Jan. –Sept. 2016 compared to the same period of 2015, the company reported.

The consolidated volume of oil transportation through the main pipelines of KazTransOil hit 42.41 million tons in this period compared to 46.22 million tons in the same period of 2015.

KazTransOil is Kazakhstan’s national operator of the main oil pipelines. The company operates a network of 5,400 kilometers long main oil pipelines and 2,000 kilometers long water pipelines. In 2015 KazTransOil transported 51 percent of all oil in Kazakhstan.
