Russia’s Novorossiysk international sea trade port transshipped 61.26 million tons of oil in January-September 2016 as compared to 56.33 million tons in the same period in 2015, read a message posted on the port’s website Oct. 21.
During the period, Novorossiysk port transshipped 24.21 million tons of oil products as compared to 23.76 million tons in January-September 2015.
In total, 110.49 million tons of various cargoes were transshipped via the port in January-September 2016 as compared to 103.97 million tons in the same period in 2015.
Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR transships its oil via the Novorossiysk port. The oil is delivered to the port via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline.
