Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and head of the Russian company ARETI Igor Makarov discussed oil and gas projects, the Turkmen government said in a message.
According to the message, the Russian businessman expressed his company’s aspiration to implement joint projects in the oil and gas industry and construction, and confirmed intention to expand the company’s presence in the Turkmen market.
“The businessman stressed that ARETI will always fulfill partnership commitments with great responsibility,” the message said.
ARETI is a new project by the Russian businessman Igor Makarov, which was created as a result of re-branding of ITERA International Group of Companies.
Main business areas of ARETI are projects in fuel and energy complex, in particular, offshore mining in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, trading, engineering, real-estate development, and investment to the real economy.
ARETI has been working in Turkmenistan since 2009 on the basis of a production sharing agreement (PSA).
